As a Cost Accountant or Chartered Accountant with 6-10 years of experience for the role in a garment industry, your responsibilities will include: - Having excellent knowledge of product costing, material costing, preferably from the garment industry. - Directing financial analysis, internal & regulatory reporting, accounting operations, budgeting & forecasting to drive long-term improvements in cost savings, profitability, and productivity. - Preparation of detailed budgeting exercises, monitoring monthly actuals, and implementing budgetary controls. - Working in an ERP environment and possessing sound knowledge of system controls. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. - Participating in decision-making processes related to purchases, capital expenditure, contracts, etc., as a member of the management team. - Monitoring Revenue, CAPEX Budget for various functions, designing cost models for measuring and monitoring project and overhead costs, reviewing processes and transactions, and establishing internal control mechanisms.
