As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, which include air conditioners, heaters, ventilation units, chillers, and refrigeration systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, checking refrigerant levels, and cleaning coils. - Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems. - Reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand system layout and specifications. - Calibrating system controls and thermostats for optimal performance. - Testing systems and components for proper functionality. - Ensuring compliance with all local HVAC codes and health and safety regulations. - Documenting all work performed and maintaining accurate service records. - Communicating clearly with clients and team members regarding repairs, issues, or maintenance suggestions. - Responding to emergency repair requests promptly and efficiently.
