Job Description

Tarun Bharat is a Marathi newspaper based in Belgaum, India. It is the seventh largest selling Marathi daily newspaper in the country. The paper has eight editions from locations in (Belgaum) North Karnataka, Southern Maharashtra (Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara), Konkan (Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri), Mumbai and Goa.

· Experience: 15–20 years in administration, preferably in printing/media / Manufacturing Industry.

· Education: Any Degree / MBA in Management or equivalent.

We are looking for a skilled professional with strong leadership abilities, negotiation expertise, financial management, HR knowledge, compliance awareness, and a focus on operational excellence

Roles & Responsibilities*

1. Administrative Leadership

  • Oversee and manage all administrative operations across printing plants, edition /Branch offices,
  • Develop and enforce administrative policies, SOPs, and compliance standards.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments—HR, production, Advertisement Marketing, circulation, finance, procurement and editorial.

2. Manpower Management

· Supervise administrative and supporting staff.

· Workforce discipline: Enforce policies, resolve conflicts, and maintain morale.

· Maintain discipline, resolve grievances, and uphold company policies.

· Contract management Handle vendor agreements, printing contracts, and service providers.

· Maintain workforce discipline and resolve conflicts.

3. Financial & Resource Management

· Prepared and monitored operational and administrative budgets, ensuring efficient expenditure and alignment with organizational goals.

· Oversaw inventory of paper, ink, and spare parts, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing downtime.

· Control operational costs through waste-reduction initiatives and effective vendor negotiation to secure favorable pricing and terms.

4. Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Governance

· Managed and negotiated contracts with suppliers, service providers, and printing partners, ensuring optimal terms and high service standards.

· Ensure full compliance with all applicable labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards through effective policies, audits, and monitoring.

· Develop and implement risk management strategies to safeguard organizational operations, minimize disruptions, and ensure business continuity.

5. Organizational performance and leading innovation initiatives.

  • Drive innovation by evaluating and adopting advanced printing technologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Monitored and analyzed KPIs for productivity, cost efficiency, and delivery timelines, driving operational improvements and performance excellence.
  • Enhanced customer satisfaction by implementing quality standards and ensuring timely delivery of services, resulting in improved client relationships and retention.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
