Job Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our Accounts Receivable (AR) team. The successful candidate will manage the AR processes, ensuring timely collections, resolving client discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records of financial transactions. You will play a key role in improving cash flow and strengthening the company's financial position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoicing

  : Prepare, verify, and send customer invoices in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Accounts Reconciliation

  : Regularly reconcile AR accounts and investigate any discrepancies.

• Collections

  : Follow up on overdue payments, send reminders, and escalate issues to management when necessary.

• Customer Communication

  : Handle customer inquiries and resolve disputes related to invoices and payments.

• Aging Reports

  : Prepare and review AR aging reports to identify overdue accounts and potential collection risks.

• Receipts & Allocation

  : Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions; ensure accurate allocation of payments to corresponding invoices.

• Credit Control

  : Assess customer creditworthiness and determine credit limits in coordination with the AR Manager.

• Process Improvements

  : Assist in identifying areas of improvement in the AR process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Reporting

  : Assist in the preparation of monthly AR reports, including DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) metrics and collection forecasts.

• Audit & Compliance

  : Ensure all AR processes comply with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations. Assist in audits related to AR.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education

  : Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA in Finance is a plus.

• Experience

  : 2+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, finance operations, or a similar role.

• Technical Skills

  : Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Communication Skills

  : Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively handle customer interactions and internal reporting.

• Attention to Detail

  : Ability to manage large volumes of transactions with precision and accuracy.

• Analytical Ability

  : Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze financial data and AR trends.

• Teamwork

  : Ability to work collaboratively with the AR team and other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service.
