Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented engineer responsible for maintaining and optimizing our 3D printers and 2D CNC routers. Over time, the candidate will take ownership of the entire production floor, overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, and ensuring manufacturing targets and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Machine Maintenance & Operation (Initial Phase)

Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot FDM/Resin 3D printers and CNC routers (2D cutting, engraving, etc.)
Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to minimize downtime
Monitor print/cut jobs for accuracy, defects, and quality assurance
Work with design and engineering teams to ensure smooth production handoff
Manage inventory of machine consumables, spares, and maintenance logs

Phase 2: Production Floor Management (Growth Role)

Supervise and optimize end-to-end production operations
Plan and coordinate manufacturing schedules, resource allocation, and shift planning
Implement lean manufacturing practices for productivity and efficiency
Build and lead a team of machine operators, technicians, and junior staff
Drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing throughput
Coordinate with procurement and QA for seamless material flow and quality standards
Maintain safety, cleanliness, and compliance on the factory floor

Requirements:

Diploma or B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or relevant engineering discipline
2+ years hands-on experience with 3D printers (FDM, SLA preferred) and CNC routers
Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and electrical diagnosis skills
Working knowledge of slicing software (Cura, PrusaSlicer, etc.) and CNC control software (Mach3, GRBL, etc.)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Strong leadership potential with willingness to grow into a factory manager role

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with production planning software / ERP tools
Prior experience leading a small fabrication or prototyping team
Understanding of G-code, STL files, CAD-to-manufacture workflows
