Job Description

We are actively looking for Maintenance manager leading a team of multiple trades to oversee maintenance of a company's equipment, facilities, and physical assets, which involves planning work, managing budgets, ensuring safety compliance, and performing inspections. Key responsibilities include routine repairs, Preventive maintenance, condition monitoring to long-term strategy, and must be able to train staff, coordinate with other departments, and maintain equipment and inventory.

Also responsible for scheduling repairs and installations, evaluating costs, and coordinating with external contractors and suppliers.

Core responsibilities

Supervise, train, and guide maintenance staff, assign tasks, and evaluate performance.

Track department expenses, manage budgets, and maintain adequate inventory of parts and supplies.

Oversee all repair and installation activities, create and implement maintenance schedules, and perform or oversee inspections to identify and resolve issues.

Develop and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Develop maintenance procedures and policies that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and align with company goals.

Maintain maintenance logs, report on daily activities, and provide regular updates to upper management.

Working with KPIs & aligning maintenance department with company’s goals & vision

Manage relationships with external contractors and service providers.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in managing maintenance team
  • Understanding of GMP and regulatory compliance in food industry.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing maintenance teams.
  • Able to handle pressure & self motivated.
  • Excellent team player & can collaborate with stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Good computer skills including MS Office
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, which may include standing, walking, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, inventory control, and cost management
  • Proficiency in Maintenance management system and reporting tools.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with CMMS & spare part management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kanchad, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
