Machine Learning Engineer

A Machine Learning (ML) Engineer is a specialized software engineer who builds, deploys, and maintains self-running artificial intelligence (AI) systems. They create software and algorithms that allow computers to automatically learn from data, leading to more accurate predictions and automated tasks over time.
Core duties and responsibilitiesDesign and develop ML systems: Build and implement machine learning solutions, algorithms, and models from initial concept to deployment, often with a focus on prediction and automation.Handle large datasets: Manage all aspects of data handling, including data collection, cleaning, pre-processing, and transforming it to be used for training models.Train and evaluate models: Train and retrain ML models and conduct tests to evaluate their accuracy, performance, and efficiency.Optimize and fine-tune models: Refine and improve existing models for better performance, efficiency, and scalability in real-world applications.Deploy and monitor models: Deploy, monitor, and maintain ML models in production environments to ensure they operate reliably over time.Collaborate across teams: Work with data scientists, software developers, and stakeholders to translate business problems into technical solutions and integrate ML systems into applications.
