Machine Learning Engineer

Required Skills

Core ML

• Transformers / BERT-style sequence models
• Self-supervised learning (contrastive, masked modelling, CPC)
• Temporal modeling (CNN-1D/TCN/GRU/LSTM/attention)
• Feature normalization & embeddings
• Time-series robustness

Data Science / Engineering

• Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Training pipelines on large unlabeled datasets
• Experiment tracking (wandb, mlflow, custom)
• Metrics design for real-world, not benchmarks

Nice to Have

• Worked with IMU or wearable datasets (movement, sports, health, AR/VR)
• HAR (Human Activity Recognition)
• Pedestrian movement segmentation
• Work on Meta Quest, Apple Health, Garmin, Fitbit, Xiaomi or ARCore

Experience

We prefer candidates who have:

• 48 years ML experience
• Built and shipped models in production
• Strong experience in time-series or real-world sensor noise
• Demonstrated ability to iterate quickly from prototypes to stable deployment

Education

Preferred but not mandatory:

• B.Tech / M.Tech / MS or PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Computer Science, Data Science
