EISAI regions. The centre leverages internal critical technical competencies to engineer,
build, secure, and operate consolidated cost optimized global infrastructure platforms
supporting our human health care (hhc) mission.
The Messaging & Collaboration Engineer will play a key role in managing and optimizing Eisai’s Microsoft 365 ecosystem, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration across the organization. You will be responsible for the deployment, administration, and security of Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Intune environments. This role involves managing and resolving user-raised tickets related to collaboration and messaging services.
• Manage and optimize M365 collaboration services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive for Business.
• Implement and maintain Intune configurations for device compliance, application management, and endpoint protection.
• Working on Service/Change tickets using ITSM tools related to M365 services.
• Develop, deploy, and manage advanced Microsoft Purview policies for Data Loss Prevention (DLP), records management, and insider risk.
• Handle user-raised tickets related to M365 services, messaging, and collaboration tools.
• Leverage Microsoft Defender suite (Defender for Office 365, Endpoint, and Identity) for proactive threat protection.
• Automate operational workflows and service configurations using PowerShell and APIs.
• Manage email hygiene, antiphishing policies, transport rules, and message trace investigations.
• Perform root cause analysis for user incidents and ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align collaboration tool capabilities with user productivity and governance strategies.
• Drive adoption initiatives, user training, and governance policy implementation across collaboration platforms.
• Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Teams administration.
• Strong expertise in Messaging Gateways Cisco Email Security, EOP etc.
• Hands-on experience with Intune for device compliance, deployment, and endpoint security.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for M365 automation and reporting.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Defender and Purview ecosystems.
• Knowledge of email flow, connectors, DNS (MX/SPF/DKIM/DMARC), and security configurations.
• Familiarity with hybrid Exchange environments and migration tools.
• Experience with third-party backup, eDiscovery, and archiving solutions.
• Exposure to Teams voice and telephony integration.
• Understanding of Zero Trust security principles within M365.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified:
Enterprise Administrator Expert preferred
