Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and manage our

company's logistics operations. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating,

and optimizing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes to ensure efficient and

cost-effective logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

 Plan and coordinate logistics operations, including transportation, inventory control,

warehousing, and distribution to meet company objectives and customer requirements.

 Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures to streamline

operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.

 Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure

smooth and timely transportation and delivery of goods.

 Negotiate and manage contracts with logistics service providers, carriers, and suppliers to

ensure cost-effective and reliable logistics solutions.

 Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, inventory

levels, transportation costs, and quality metrics, and implement improvements as needed.

 Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and overstock situations while

maintaining proper inventory turnover rates.

 Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, safety standards, and customs

requirements for transportation and logistics activities.

 Work as an individual contributor and to ensure high productivity and efficiency.

 Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and supply chain optimization

in logistics operations.

 Prepare and present logistics reports, forecasts, and budgets to management, outlining key

performance indicators and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a

related field (Master's degree or certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus).

 5 - 10 years of proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management,

with a track record of progressively responsible roles.

 Strong knowledge of logistics principles, supply chain management, transportation, and

inventory management best practices.

 Proficiency in logistics software, warehouse management systems, and MS Office Suite.

 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

 Effective leadership and team management abilities.

 Strong communication and negotiation skills.

 Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

simultaneously.
