Key Responsibility Areas for Logistics Head

• Strategic Planning & Execution
• Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
• Forecast demand and plan capacity for warehousing and transportation.
• Supply Chain Optimization
• Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and streamline logistics processes.
• Vendor & Partner Management
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with transporters, warehouse providers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure SLA compliance.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate logistics teams across locations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Technology & Process Innovation
• Implement and manage logistics software (e.g., TMS, WMS, ERP).
• Drive automation and digital transformation in logistics operations.
• Compliance & Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, freight cost per unit, and inventory turnover.
• Present logistics performance reports to senior management.
• Customer Service Alignment
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Resolve escalated logistics issues affecting customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,227.46 - ₹25,000.00 per month
