Description
The Amazon Safety Learning and Development Team is looking for a self-motivated Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator that can configure, implement and support the training of our Associates. The LMS Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operational support for Amazon’s Learning Management System, acting as a first line of customer support for end-users. The LMS Administrator will be responsible for publishing courseware, running reports, resolving technical issues, daily audit monitoring and collaborating with relevant partners to resolve defects. This position will also provide implementation support for training initiatives, create technical requirements, system documentation, and support system maintenance and upgrades. Technical support of other learning technologies and processes will also be required.Key job responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day audits that monitor LMS system interactions
- Provides end-user troubleshooting, issue remediation, technology request assistance and escalation management. Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements
- Develops, builds and maintains all elements related to LMS functionality, including but not limited to content integrations and creation, curriculum programs, LMS structure, and reporting
- Develops standardized LMS operational processes and procedures, guidelines and documentation and ensures LMS governance model is being followed
- Ensures training is running properly at all times within the various learning platforms - without interruption, quality degradation, and without experiencing any avoidable technical issues that could diminish the overall user experience
About The Team
The Safety Learning and Development (SLeD) team is part of the Worldwide Ergonomics and Safety Experience (WESE) team. SLeD designs and develops safety training, that adheres to adult learning theory principles, to increase learner retention by reducing cognitive overload. The team’s focus areas include delivering onboarding, annual refresher, and developmental training.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2+ years of LMS experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Products
- Experience successfully following daily standard work
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of eLearning standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI
- Experience collaborating and working with international stakeholders
