Job Title: Linux System Administrator

Location: Shyamal Cross Road, Ahmedabad

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with strong Linux administration skills to support and optimize enterprise-level systems. The role involves troubleshooting, automation, system design, and leading infrastructure improvements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide Tier I and Tier II support including problem recognition, root cause analysis, research, isolation, resolution, follow-up, and documentation.
• Develop and implement test strategies, procedures, and controls to prevent recurring issues.

System & Network Administration

• Analyze, design, and configure networking, hardware, and software systems to meet business requirements.
• Maintain network devices, system hardware, and software including configuration restoration and updates.
• Proactively mitigate risks to system security across hardware, software, and network connections.

Architecture & Integration

• Lead the integration and design of communication architectures, topologies, hardware, and software.
• Oversee implementations and rollouts of new networking, hardware, software, and system tools.
• Coordinate installations and upgrades with user departments to minimize disruptions.

Team Support & Leadership

• Assist in training and supervising Systems Engineers to support skill development and team growth.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution activities.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of policies, standards, and procedures ensuring system stability and security.

Research & Documentation

• Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software solutions aligned with organizational goals.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications and coordinate development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

Requirements (What You’ve Got)Experience & Technical Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer or Linux Administrator.
• Strong expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux including server building, administration, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible automation for deployments, patching, and configuration management.
• Proficiency with virtualization platforms such as VMware (preferred), Nutanix, Hyper-V, or vCenter.

Certifications & Education

• RHEL certification preferred.
• Nutanix certification and ITIL V3 Awareness training are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.

Soft Skills & Additional Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Collaborative leadership style with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments; gaming industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹11,827.53 - ₹40,864.65 per month
