Job Title: Linux L3 Engineer (Remote)

Experience Required: 6–8 years in advanced Linux system administration and infrastructure engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level technical support and conduct root cause analysis for complex Linux system issues
• Architect, deploy, and maintain scalable Linux infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments
• Drive performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization initiatives
• Design and implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Lead advanced configuration and troubleshooting o

  f Zimbra, Postfix, and other enterprise mail systems

• Manage and scale OpenStack environments and virtualized infrastructure
• Develop and maintain automation workflows using 

  Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting

• Implement centralized logging and monitoring solutions using 

  ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and Nagios

• Ensure infrastructure compliance with security standards through regular audits and assessments
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and contribute to internal knowledge base and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Linux distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and scripting languages

• Deep expertise in Zimbra architecture

  , deployment, and migration strategies
• Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for 

  mail servers including Postfix and Zimbra

• Strong hands-on experience with OpenStack architecture and operations
• Proficiency in automation tools such as

  Ansible, Python, and Shell

• Solid experience with observability platforms 

  (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) and Nagios

   for proactive monitoring
• In-depth understanding of DNS, LDAP, authentication mechanisms, and core network protocols
• Proven track record in leading incident response and conducting root cause analysis
• Exceptional communication, documentation, and mentoring abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA) or equivalent advanced certification
• Experience designing and managing hybrid cloud and containerized environments
• Prior leadership in supporting 24x7 enterprise-grade infrastructure
