Legal Consultant

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters affecting the company.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to the agri-tech and AI sectors.
• Advise management on legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential exposure.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and coordinate with external counsel when required.
• Oversee matters related to intellectual property, licensing, and data protection.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that may impact business operations.
• Establish and maintain standard legal templates, compliance checklists, and policies.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); master’s degree or specialization in Corporate/Commercial Law preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in India.
• 2+ years of experience in corporate or in-house legal roles (experience in technology or agriculture sector is a plus).
• Strong understanding of contract law, corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, and employment law.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• High ethical standards, discretion, and professional integrity.
