Job Description

Job Title: Manager – Learning and Development Location: Coimbatore Experience Required: 7+ years in Learning & Development Qualification: MBA (HR or related specialization preferred) Reporting To: Director - Operations Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Manager – Learning and Development to drive training strategies, enhance employee capabilities, and support organizational growth through impactful learning interventions. The role involves working closely with senior leadership and HR to design, deliver, and evaluate comprehensive training programs. Key Responsibilities: Training Strategy & Execution Conduct Training Need Identification (TNI) in consultation with business leaders. Design, develop, and deliver training programs including e-learning, workshops, and soft skills modules. Evaluate and measure training effectiveness through appropriate tools and methods. Conduct refresher trainings and performance improvement plans for underperforming staff. Develop and implement monthly training calendars and track adherence. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with department managers for employee upskilling and career path development. Identify training opportunities based on market needs and organizational goals. Align L&D strategies with overall business objectives and cultural transformation. Performance Metrics & Monitoring Track key L&D KPIs such as: Job role competency improvements Time to proficiency Stakeholder satisfaction Knowledge and skills retention Compliance rates Technology & Systems Assist in the development and implementation of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Support the HR department in other related functions as required.
