Learning and Development Manager

As a Learning and Development Manager at Almas Hospital, Kottakkal, your role is crucial in enhancing staff training, orientation, and career development programs to ensure continuous professional growth. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Assessing organizational learning needs and designing structured training programs accordingly. - Leading the development, delivery, and evaluation of orientation programs for new joiners, including nurses and clinical staff. - Conducting training sessions on clinical competencies, soft skills, leadership, safety protocols, and policy compliance. - Collaborating with nursing and other department heads to identify specific skill gaps and training needs. - Ensuring training programs comply with NABH and other accreditation standards. - Maintaining training records and reports for audit and compliance purposes. - Coordinating Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) and in-service programs. - Mentoring and supporting nursing educators, trainers, and department leads in effective knowledge transfer. - Evaluating the impact of training interventions and continuously improving content and delivery methods. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing (BSc / MSc Nursing preferred). - Additional certifications in Training & Development / Hospital Administration will be an added advantage. - Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital-based learning & development or nursing education. - Strong knowledge of clinical operations, hospital workflows, and adult learning principles. - Excellent communication, facilitation, and leadership skills. - Proficient in preparing training content, conducting workshops, and using digital learning platforms.
