Job Title : Nurse Educator Location : Almas Hospital - Kottakkal Department : Nursing Education & Training Reporting to : Chief Nursing Officer / Nursing Superintendent Employment Type : Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and passionate Nurse Educator to lead and support the training and professional development of our nursing staff. The role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical education programs to ensure excellence in patient care and compliance with NABH and hospital standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver clinical education programs for nurses, including orientation, skill-based training, and continuous education. Assess the training needs of nursing staff and coordinate workshops, simulations, and competency evaluations. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments. Ensure nursing practices align with evidence-based guidelines and NABH accreditation standards. Collaborate with department heads and HR in performance improvement and staff development plans. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, assessments, and feedback. Conduct audits and provide feedback to nursing units for quality improvement. Support implementation of clinical protocols and hospital policies. Eligibility Criteria BSc or MSc in Nursing from a recognized institution. Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience; prior experience as an educator is an advantage. Valid nursing registration with the [State Nursing Council]. Strong knowledge of clinical skills, hospital infection control, and NABH guidelines. Proficient in using educational tools, simulations, and e-learning platforms.
