Role Overview:
The role owns video as both a performance and brand growth engine — from reels that drive discovery to explainers that build trust, ads that convert, and event films that shape reputation. This is a hybrid creative–strategic role for someone who thrives on experimentation, understands the mechanics of storytelling, and knows how to translate emotion into engagement. You’ll lead a dynamic video team that switches between formats, audiences, and platforms daily — ensuring that every campaign has video at its core.In addition to traditional production, you’ll be among the first in the organisation to build and deploy fully AI-generated videos — creating high-quality explainers, product demos, and event content without needing cameras, studios, or large production budgets. The role combines creative direction, data-led iteration, and a hands-on approach to building Medhavi’s video-first brand narrative.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee planning, shooting, editing, and deployment of all video assets across channels.

Lead the creation of AI-generated videos for explainers, campaigns, testimonials, and internal storytelling — leveraging tools like Runway, Pika, Synthesia, or HeyGen.

Mentor video editors and producers, ensuring brand and creative consistency across outputs.

Collaborate with Social Media for reels/stories, Growth for ads and campaigns, and PR/Brand for event and leadership content.

Approve scripts, storyboards, and voiceovers with the Copy Lead prior to production.

Build and maintain the video playbook, covering formats such as testimonials, reels, explainers, leadership talks, and events.

Run structured experiments with new video formats, transitions, and emerging storytelling trends.

Use AI video editing and enhancement tools for subtitling, resizing, voice modulation, dubbing, and scene generation.

Maintain a centralised and searchable library of raw footage, AI assets, templates, and published content.

Analyse performance data (CTR, watch time, conversion) and implement creative optimisations.

Collaborate with Martech and Analytics teams to connect video performance with funnel impact.
Key Metrics:

Engagement rate (views, watch time, average retention).

CTR uplift and conversion improvement from video-embedded campaigns.

% of videos delivered on time and on budget.

No. of innovative or AI-first formats tested each quarter.

Qualifications & Skills Required:
-
6–9 years leading video production for high-growth brands or creative agencies.
-
Proven expertise in both short- and long-form storytelling tied to measurable outcomes (CTR, conversions, retention).

Deep familiarity with AI video tools such as Synthesia, Runway, Pika Labs, HeyGen, and Descript for end-to-end generation and editing.

Hands-on experience with traditional production workflows (shoot planning, editing, post-production).

Strong grasp of creative direction, lighting, audio, and post-processing — even when simulated through AI.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent editing tools.

Strong data orientation with the ability to link creative performance to funnel metrics.

Degree/Diploma in Film, Media, Visual Communication, or Design preferred; certifications in AI or creative tech are a plus.

A creative technologist at heart — equally comfortable directing human shoots and designing AI-powered video systems that scale storytelling.
