Purpose of Job The purpose of the Lead UX Designer at CarInfo is to drive the strategic vision and execution of intuitive, user-centered, and visually compelling digital experiences that elevate customer satisfaction and engagement. This leadership role involves overseeing the design of seamless interfaces for CarInfo’s website and mobile app, guiding the optimization of user flows, and ensuring consistent usability across platforms. A key responsibility is to mentor and collaborate with the design team, align design initiatives with business goals, and champion a deep understanding of user needs through research and feedback. By translating insights into impactful design solutions, the role plays a critical part in positioning CarInfo as the leading platform for automotive insights. Responsibilities Lead and manage the design team, fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and user-first design culture. Develop and drive UX strategy across CarInfo's digital ecosystem, ensuring all touchpoints deliver meaningful and effective experiences. Oversee user research initiatives, including interviews, usability testing, and data analysis, to uncover user needs and pain points. Translate business goals into UX solutions, aligning design objectives with broader product and organizational strategies. Ensure best-in-class user flows, interaction models, and information architecture to deliver intuitive navigation and high engagement. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of design strategies. Advocate for UX at a strategic level, influencing decision-makers and stakeholders with user insights and design thinking. Maintain UX standards and ensure accessibility, consistency, and usability across all platforms and devices. Skills Required 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in UX/UI design, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership or senior design role. UX Leadership & Team Management: Demonstrated success leading UX teams, nurturing talent, and driving team growth in a collaborative environment. User Research & Testing Expertise: Skilled in planning, executing, and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative research to guide design direction. UX Strategy & Execution: Proven ability to define and deliver user experience strategies aligned with business objectives. Information Architecture & User Flows: Deep understanding of structuring content and interactions to optimize usability and engagement. Wireframing & Prototyping: Proficiency in creating low to high-fidelity prototypes using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Responsive & Accessible Design: Experience crafting inclusive experiences across devices, with adherence to accessibility standards (WCAG). Cross-functional Collaboration: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to champion UX across disciplines. Design Systems & Tools: Proficient with modern UX tools and practices, including Figma, InVision, Adobe XD, and design system implementation. Strategic Problem Solving: Analytical and forward-thinking, capable of solving complex user problems through thoughtful UX design.
