Job Title: Lead Technical Architect / Lead Software Engineer

Shift: 3 PM – 12 AM IST (US Client Support) / Work From Office

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Technical Architect / Lead Software Engineer with 15+ years of experience in Power BI, MS SQL Server, Python, Azure, and Web Application Development, who will also lead the Support and Operations team. This role involves managing production systems, ensuring high availability, and coordinating closely with US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

•

Lead end-to-end solution architecture, design, and development of web and data-driven applications

•

Act as a technical lead for development teams, providing guidance, code reviews, and mentoring

•

Design and optimize MS SQL Server databases, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data models

•

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports with strong data visualization and insights

•

Build scalable backend solutions using Python (APIs, data processing, automation)

•

Design, deploy, and manage applications on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Storage, Functions, DevOps pipelines, etc.)

•

Oversee web application development (backend-heavy focus; frontend collaboration)

•

Work closely with US clients, gathering requirements, providing technical solutions, and participating in calls during US business hours

•

Ensure security, scalability, performance, and reliability of applications

•

Drive best practices in CI/CD, cloud architecture, and DevOps

•

Lead Support and Operations teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day production support

•

Act as Level 3 (L3) escalation point for critical production issues

•

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes

•

Support production systems and resolve critical issues during shift hours

Required Skills

Power BI – Advanced reporting and analytics

•

MS SQL Server – Database architecture, tuning, and troubleshooting

•

Python – Backend development and automation

•

Microsoft Azure – Cloud architecture, monitoring, and operations

•

Web Application Development – API-driven systems and integrations

•

Strong experience in Production Support, Operations, and Incident Management

•

Proven team handling and leadership experience

•

Excellent communication skills with US client-facing experience

Preferred Qualifications

•

Experience managing US-shift support teams

•

Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
