Your Impact

The Lead Product Manager will drive the transformation of the core messaging platform to a fully cloud-native architecture on the OpenText Cloud Platform (OCP). This strategic role involves leading cross-functional teams, influencing architectural decisions, and delivering a reliable, scalable, and high-performance SaaS messaging product for enterprise customers. The Lead Product Manager will translate business objectives into a technical roadmap, champion modernization initiatives, and ensure seamless migration with minimal disruption to existing customers.

What The Role Offers

  • Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the cloud-native transformation of the messaging platform on OCP.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle: requirements gathering, prioritization, design, development, testing, release, and go-live.
  • Partner with platform engineering, DevOps, security, and QA teams to deliver robust, scalable, and secure platform services that meet enterprise-grade SLAs and compliance requirements.
  • Engage business stakeholders to clarify needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business goals throughout the transformation journey.
  • Establish KPIs, track platform performance, and report progress to management and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to help clients integrate with Core Messaging and commercialize said opportunities with connectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to ensure successful adoption and migration.
  • Serve as product owner in agile ceremonies, providing clear prioritization and direction for technical teams.
  • Ensure product compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, TCPA), security standards, and OpenText best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver executive updates, product documentation, and go-to-market materials to support launch and customer onboarding.

What You Need To Succeed

  • 8+ years in product management, with at least 3+ years overseeing cloud-native, SaaS, or platform transformation initiatives for large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, their applications, and limitations.
  • Experience and strong understanding of messaging platforms, including integration SMS aggregators, email servers, OTT messaging.
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy systems and delivering platform migrations with high uptime and customer satisfaction.
  • Solid technical understanding of messaging platforms, public cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenText Cloud), containerization, microservices, and CI/CD.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional global teams.
  • Familiarity with compliance protocols (GDPR, TCPA), cloud security, and enterprise integration standards.
  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, cloud migration strategies, and platform performance management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to deliver modernization at scale and drive business impact.
