This role will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative urban design strategies for mixed-use housing and integrated township projects. This role involves creating detailed plans and 3D models, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with zoning regulations. The role will also supervise construction activities to ensure design fidelity and engage with stakeholders to communicate design proposals effectively.Responsibilities
Lead Urban Design
Urban Design Strategy
Develop and implement urban design strategies for mixed-use housing and integrated township projects.Create detailed plans, drawings, and 3D models for urban design projects.Collaborate with architects, landscape architects, engineers, and city planners to ensure cohesive and sustainable designs.Prepare presentations and reports to communicate design proposals to clients and stakeholders.Supervise the construction and installation of designs to ensure they match the original plan.Project Management
Lead project teams in the execution of urban design projects from conception to completion.Monitor project timelines and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules.Coordinate with various stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.Ensure compliance with local regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct regular project reviews and adjust plans as necessary to meet objectives.Research And Analysis
Conduct research and analysis on demographics, transportation, land use, and zoning regulations.Conduct thorough research on current design trends, technologies, and regulations.Analyze zoning regulations and land use policies to inform design decisions.Evaluate the impact of urban design projects on the community and environment.Prepare analytical reports to support design proposals and decision-making.Budget Management
Develop and manage project budgets to ensure financial accountability.Monitor expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.Prepare financial reports to communicate budget status to stakeholders.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design quality.Digitization And Automation
Lead and execute comprehensive digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency.Innovate and implement automation solutions to support overall organizational goals/strategy.Review and implement process and system improvements, adopting newer technologies and innovative ideas.Integrate advanced technology into urban design processes to enhance productivity.Train team members on new digital tools and technologies to ensure effective utilization.People And Team Engagement

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Master’s degree in Urban Design or Architecture.Work Experience (Range Of Years)
6-9 years of experience in urban design or related fields.Preferred Industry
Experience in a reputed consulting or design firm with professional licensure in architecture, urban design, or a related field.
