Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the infrastructure master plan in alignment with the overall project vision. Engage with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and consultants to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with national and international regulations (e.g., Indian Road Congress, National Building Code, and FIDIC guidelines). Benchmark infrastructure planning and execution strategies against leading global cities and smart infrastructure projects. Define infrastructure development policies, ensuring adherence to legal and environmental norms such as MoEF&CC guidelines, IGBC green building standards, and LEED certifications. Provide guidance on sustainable infrastructure development, greenfield and brownfield projects, and smart city principles. Drive innovation by integrating IoT, digital twins, and AI-driven predictive maintenance into infrastructure planning. Technical Oversight Oversee the design and engineering of roads, townships, hardscape/landscape elements, and pipelines while ensuring compliance with BIS, AASHTO, and ISO 55000 (Asset Management Standards). Ensure adherence to national and international engineering standards and best practices, including Eurocodes and ASCE standards. Review and approve design specifications, drawings, and technical documents. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for infrastructure projects. Implement geospatial technology (GIS, LiDAR, and BIM) for effective planning and execution. Project Execution & Management Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring quality control, cost optimization, and timely completion. Manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure seamless project implementation. Monitor project progress using real-time project tracking tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), resolve roadblocks, and mitigate risks proactively. Implement health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines in line with OSHA and IFC standards across all projects. Introduce Lean Construction and Value Engineering techniques to optimize costs and improve efficiency. Stakeholder & Team Management Coordinate with government agencies, urban planners, architects, and construction teams. Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and project managers. Facilitate collaboration between public-private partnerships (PPP) and international consultants to bring in expertise from global infrastructure projects. Conduct periodic reviews and provide detailed reports to senior leadership on infrastructure progress using KPIs and performance dashboards.
