Role Description Position Summary We are urgently seeking a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant with a strong background in Finance module implementation and business process optimization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving end-to-end F&O implementations, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and partners to deliver scalable and effective financial solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyze client business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. Configure and implement core financial modules in D365 F&O, including: General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) Accounts Receivable (AR) Fixed Assets Cash and Bank Management Budgeting & Cost Accounting Conduct Fit-Gap analysis, prepare functional design documents, and define business process flows. Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), provide training and support during go-live. Collaborate with technical consultants for customization, integrations, and reporting needs. Support data migration activities, validate financial data accuracy and completeness. Provide post-go-live support and drive continuous process improvement. Stay current with D365 F&O updates, new features, and best practices. Work with cross-functional teams in Agile/DevOps environments. Must-Have Skills 5–7 years of functional experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, with at least 2 full-cycle D365 F&O Finance implementations. Strong expertise in Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash & Bank, Budgeting). Ability to understand and document end-to-end financial processes and map them in D365. Solid understanding of chart of accounts, dimensions, and financial reporting structures. Experience with localization features, tax configuration, and regulatory compliance (GST/VAT if applicable). Hands-on experience with data migration templates and data validation tools. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working with global teams and engaging with business users. Good-to-Have Skills Experience with Project Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, or Consolidation. Exposure to Power BI, Financial Reporter, and other reporting tools. Familiarity with Workflow configuration in Finance modules. Basic knowledge of D365 Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a plus. Experience working with ISVs or third-party integrations (e.g., banking, payroll). Microsoft Certification: MB-310 – Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate.
