Purpose/Objective

Establish Intelligence network across the organisation to gather strategic, operational and tactical intelligence pertaining business operations and business assets; Analyse the intelligence by applying analytical concepts, theories and techniques and draw insights of strategic and operational importance.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Open Source Intelligence Management: - Monitor activity of Union through their social media account - Monitor Local Newspaper on regular basis to know information related to organization or news can affect business interest. - Monitor Social media to track activity of any person or group against business interest. - Monitoring social media maligning business image. Develop Intelligence Network: - Develop and maintain sources for financial crime intelligence & Information networking - Develop and foster relationships with business units and functions to ensure awareness and to keep check on fraudulent practices. - Develop sources in nearby villages and area to get input activity against organization. - Develop and maintain sources in Union to get timely information related to union activity in organization or nearby area. - Liaise with local police to help register complaints/FIR/during seek support during crisis. Intelligence Management: - Proactive intelligence Gathering to foil attempts/likelihoods of any crime or union activities. Information collection & sharing with filed teams, ops team in mitigating risks. - Maintain track register of gathered information. - Analyse gathered information and disseminate to management. - Analyse workers data based on religion/regional and provided report to management. Reports and Dossier: - Create Dossier of Local union active in surrounding having potential to damaged business interest. - Create Dossier of Local leaders active in surrounding having vested interests. - Create Dossier of Anti Organization person and their activity. - Create and Maintain village profile of nearby villages - Share news cuttings related to business with management. - Maintaining records of antisocial elements in & around the vicinity of complex and keeping a track of their movements. - Ensure timely generation of monthly MIS - Carry out investigation of frauds prepare reports and share with concerned. - Maintain records of Criminal cases filed against or filed by security department with help of legal department. - Prepare Monthly crime data of region and provide report to management. I & V fund monitoring: - Provide stipends to potential sources on monthly basis and Monitor it. - Distributes gift to informer on input based and liaison purpose. Liaison with Govt. Agency: - Liaison with Police to get input related to organization. - Liaison with Central IB, State IB and Coast guard to get input and share information related to company. Data Analysis: - Analyse data from the available application and provide input on gap in system and opportunity of improvement in system. - Analyse data to identify any manipulation

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: - Bachelor’s degree - Higher degree in relevant field preferably - Preferable to have Certified Protection Professional (CPP) / Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) / Industrial Security professional certifications Experiences: - More than 10 years of experience in the field of Security and at least 5 years of experience in a I & V department or similar field. - Knowing local language will be advantageous in this field - Adequate experience & perseverance in detection, investigation & executing even unpopular punitive administrative / legal action against the delinquents. - Should have sound knowledge of IT tools and system while investigating. - Knowledge of cross functional policies, finance, accounts and commercial processes. - Knowledge of law will be advantageous in this field.
