Sales Force QA Lead - candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications, customizations, and integrations. This role involves collaborating with onshore development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to design and execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure deliverables meet business requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Salesforce testing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively across time zones. Key Responsibilities Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including custom objects, workflows, Apex code, Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations. Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate system performance and user requirements. Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms, and work with developers to resolve issues.Platform Knowledge Coordinate with onshore teams (developers, admins, and business analysts) to understand requirements, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment on deliverables. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings) to provide testing updates and feedback Leverage automation tools to create and maintain automated test scripts for repetitive testing tasks, where applicable. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI to validate Salesforce integrations with external systems. Validate data integrity by writing and executing SOQL queries or using Salesforce Data Loader for data testing. Provide detailed test reports, including test execution status, defect summaries, and quality metrics, to stakeholders. Soft Skills Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements. Team Collaboration: Experience working in teams using Agile or Scrum methodologies. Technical Skills Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration, and customization capabilities. Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Provar, or similar). Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and basic knowledge of SOQL/SQL for data validation. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or TestRail. Certifications (Candidates will be Preferred): Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) or Salesforce Platform App Builder certification. ISTQB Foundation Level or similar QA certification is a plus.
