The Lab Chemist’s role is to perform and support advanced analytical testing preparing samples and reagents, operating high-end instrument (ICP-OES, XRF, auto-titrator, hardness tester), and ensuring data integrity and safety compliance in our NABL-accredited laboratory.
o Assist in conducting laboratory tests per established SOPs.
o Prepare chemical solutions, standards, and samples.
o Operate and maintain analytical instruments: ICP-OES, XRF, auto-titrator, hardness tester.
o Record, analyze, and accurately document experimental data and results.
o Handling and disposal of chemicals and lab waste safely as per regulations.
o Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready laboratory environment.
o Support senior lab technicians in daily operations and troubleshooting.
o Prepare and process samples for various chemical analyses.
o Monitor inventory of reagents, consumables, and reorder supplies as needed.
o Comply with health, safety, and NABL accreditation standards and assist during audits.
o Demonstrated experience with NABL audits and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
o Strong understanding of sample preparation, titration, and instrument calibration.
o Proficient in data analysis and reporting (Excel, LIMS).
o Excellent attention to detail, safety awareness, and laboratory discipline.
o Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
