Lab Chemist

We are looking for a fresher Lab Chemist to carry out routine testing of solder wire, solder alloys, and flux materials. The candidate will support the QA/QC department by ensuring products meet industry and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality testing of solder wire, solder bars, and solder paste as per SOP.
• Check flux properties including viscosity, acidity, solid content, and specific gravity.
• Test melting point, appearance, and mechanical properties of solder alloys.
• Prepare, standardize, and handle laboratory reagents and solutions.
• Operate laboratory instruments such as pH meter, viscometer, analytical balance, spectrophotometer, etc.
• Conduct raw material testing of tin, lead, silver, copper, rosin, and chemical additives.
• Maintain accurate documentation, test reports, and quality records.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, GLP, and company quality standards.
• Assist production with in-process quality checks when required.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of basic chemistry and laboratory techniques.
• Understanding of solder alloys or metal chemistry (preferred, not required).
• Ability to handle lab instruments and follow testing methods.
• Strong observation, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a factory lab environment.

Eligibility

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Chemistry (Freshers preferred).
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
