Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Act as the final escalation point for all Java application-related incidents and requests. Analyze logs, trace errors, and perform in-depth debugging to resolve high-priority issues. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term fixes. Collaborate with development teams to apply patches and hotfixes. Monitor application performance and availability; ensure SLAs are met. Deploy and support Java applications in production and staging environments. Create technical documentation, including support runbooks and RCA reports. Participate in on-call rotation and incident response during major outages. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Java / J2EE, Spring, and REST APIs. Proficiency in debugging Java applications using tools like Log4j, JConsole, JVisualVM. Familiarity with Tomcat, WebLogic, or JBoss servers. Strong SQL skills (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL). Knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scripting and command-line tools. Experience with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, Dynatrace). Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
