Job Summary: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing key customer relationships in the automobile industry ( Commercial & Passenger vehicles, Four wheelers & Two wheelers).The candidate will have a strong understanding of the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities: Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and preferences.Sales Growth: Identify opportunities to increase sales and revenue from key customers, developing and implementing strategies to achieve sales targets. Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of the company's products and services, providing technical support and guidance to customers as needed.Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned.Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and other business terms with customers, resolving conflicts and disputes in a timely and professional manner.Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence and competitor information, providing insights and recommendations to inform business decisions.Sales Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, ensuring that customer demand is met and inventory levels are optimized. Requirements: Education: Graduate. Masters/Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales / account management preferably in the automotive industry.Skills: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Process oriented. Performance Metrics:1. Sales Revenue Growth: Achieve sales revenue growth targets.2. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.3. Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers. The company desires to strengthen its relationships with key customers, drive sales growth, provide professional service and maintain a competitive edge in the market. In his/ her area of operation the Key Account Manager would play an important role towards this objective.
