We require a Business Development Manager (GEM) with knowledge of handling Government, Railways & other PSU customers through Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal , IREPS and other search portals which involves generating business managing and executing procurement processes for Government & Public sector organisations.

Job Description:

Generating business from government and public sector organisation by visiting clients and through portals.

Managing Listing in GEM Portal:

Constantly update and maintain the company's profile on the GEM portal, ensuring accurate and up-to-date product listings.

Tender Management:

Discuss technical and commercial specification and update the customers of our products which fulfill their needs so that they can analyse and update their requirement and indent their requirement accordingly. Meticulously search, analyse and bid on relevant government & PSU tenders, ensuring timely submission and compliance with requirements.

Bid Preparation: Prepare correct technical and commercial bids, ensuring compliance with tender requirements and GEM portal specifications.

Coordination: Timely Collaboration with customers and technical teams to prepare necessary documentation, such as brochures, specifications, and certifications.

Order Processing: Process received GEM orders, ensure proper invoicing, dispatch on time and ensure timely collection of payments and after-sales service.

Relationship Management:

Identify and develop healthy relationship with potential and existing government and PSU Customers.

Handle communication with government procurement officials and departments & meet them for processing business, handling technical issues & payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Graduate.

Experience: Prior experience of handling government ,Railways & other PSU customers, GEM portal operations. Knowledge of Rubber products will be an advantage.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PDF editing, and document formatting.

Communication: Strong communication and coordination abilities.

  • Knowledge: Sales process and familiarity with GEM portal rules & proficiency in handling it for a manufacturing company.
