Role Overview: As a Junior Associate Lawyer at PJ Law, located in Ernakulam, you will play a crucial role in handling transaction-based corporate work, conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing advisory support on various corporate and commercial matters. Your responsibilities will also include participating in client meetings, managing correspondence, attending court hearings, and assisting in dispute resolution proceedings. This position offers exposure to complex transactions and disputes in a collaborative and research-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in transaction-based work related to corporate and commercial law. - Conduct comprehensive legal research and due diligence. - Draft, review, and vet legal documents, contracts, and opinions. - Provide legal advice on financial restructuring, corporate insolvency, and regulatory compliance. - Participate in client meetings and manage correspondence with clients and regulatory authorities. - Support senior counsels in arbitration and dispute resolution matters. Qualifications: - Strong legal research and analytical skills. - Proficiency in drafting and reviewing corporate and transactional documents. - Foundational knowledge in Corporate Insolvency, Financial Restructuring, FinTech, Alternative Investment Funds, Foreign Exchange Management, and Contract Law. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities. Educational Qualification: LL.B. / CS / CA. Prior experience in dispute resolution or commercial transactions will be considered an advantage.,
