Job Title: Junior HR Executive

Department: Human Resources

Reports To: Sr HR Manager
Location: Vadodara

Job Summary

The Junior HR Executive will assist in executing HR functions such as recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll coordination, attendance management, statutory compliance, and employee engagement activities. This role supports the HR department in maintaining efficient HR operations and ensuring compliance with labor laws applicable to the manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews for various manufacturing and administrative positions.
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks and documentation.
  • Prepare offer letters and appointment letters.
  • Conduct employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.

2. Attendance & Payroll Coordination

  • Maintain employee attendance records and coordinate with the payroll team.
  • Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs (leaves, attendance, overtime, etc.).
  • Support the HR team in managing shift schedules and timekeeping systems.

3. Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws such as PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, and Factory Act regulations.
  • Maintain statutory registers and documentation as per company and government requirements.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Support HR initiatives for employee welfare and engagement programs.
  • Handle employee queries and grievances professionally and escalate when required.
  • Help organize training, safety sessions, and health awareness activities.

5. HR Administration

  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records (physical and digital).
  • Prepare HR-related reports and assist in HR audits.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for HR-related services (e.g., canteen, uniforms, transportation).

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.

Experience:

  • 0–2 years of experience in HR; prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup preferred.

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of HR operations and statutory compliance (Factories Act, PF, ESI).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRMS software.
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle shop-floor workforce interactions.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
