Ltd.Location: MumbaiIndustry: Gold Jewellery Manufacturing & WholesaleEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience: 1–2 years in accounting or billing (Jewellery industry experience preferred)Salary Range: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month⸻Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, trustworthy, and responsible Junior Accounts and Billing Executive to manage the day-to-day billing, invoicing, and accounting operations. You’ll play a key role in maintaining accuracy across transactions in a business where every milligram of gold counts.The ideal candidate is sharp with numbers, disciplined, and comfortable working in Tally with a solid understanding of GST compliance and jewellery billing standards. Exposure to export documentation and foreign currency billing will be an added advantage.⸻Key Responsibilities• Prepare and issue sales invoices, purchase entries, delivery challans, issue/receive vouchers• Maintain accurate and timely entries in Tally ERP and UJI (Unified Jewellers Interface)• Ensure all invoices are GST-compliant, with correct HSN codes, tax structure (CGST/SGST/IGST), and party details• Record and reconcile input/output GST, assist in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-2A reconciliation with the CA• Generate and verify e-invoices and e-way bills for all dispatches• Reconcile gold weights issued/received, wastage, purity differences, and making/labour charges• Maintain and update customer and vendor ledgers accurately• Track receivables and follow up for pending payments regularly• Verify vendor invoices for GST accuracy and ITC eligibility• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and inventory teams for billing accuracy• Maintain physical and digital accounting documentation• Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and statutory filings as required• (Preferred) Assist with export invoicing, packing lists, shipping bills, and exchange rate calculations when needed⸻First 3 Months Expectations• Learn and align with company billing formats and systems• Demonstrate complete ownership of daily billing activities• Issue invoices, challans, and vouchers with zero errors or delays• Understand and apply jewellery billing parameters — weight, purity, wastage, labour, and GST• Support monthly GST returns and reconciliations with the external CA• Maintain up-to-date ledgers and ensure proper follow-up on payments⸻Tools You’ll Use• Tally ERP• UJI (training provided)• Excel / Google Sheets• GST & E-way Bill Portals• Email, Slack, and WhatsApp for communication⸻Required Skills & Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field• 1–2 years of experience in billing/accounting (jewellery or manufacturing preferred)• Proficiency in Tally ERP with a clear grasp of accounting principles• Strong understanding of GST norms for jewellery trade, including job work, reverse charge, and inter-state billing• Familiarity with gold purities (995, 999, 916) and bullion-based billing• (Preferred) Basic knowledge of export invoicing and documentation• Good Excel/data entry and reconciliation skills• Ability to work independently with accuracy and meet deadlines⸻Work Environment & Expectations• Formal dress code (client-facing documentation involved)• Personal phones not allowed during work hours• Work only on company systems to maintain data integrity• Willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons (e.g., Diwali, exhibitions)• High discipline, punctuality, and task completion standards are non-negotiable⸻Ideal Candidate Traits• Meticulous with numbers and documentation• Honest, reliable, and accountable• Proactive communicator and team player• Quick learner, adaptable to tools and SOPs• Comfortable handling high-responsibility financial work⸻What We Offer• Opportunity to work in a reputed and growing gold jewellery company• Exposure to both domestic and export billing processes• Blend of traditional and tech-enabled accounting systems• Structured learning, growth opportunities, and a disciplined work culture• Competitive salary based on skills and performance⸻
