Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Accounts Manager

Location - Hyderabad

job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our real estate company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements related to property sales, leasing, and development activities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for all real estate transactions (sales, purchases, leases).
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice verification and timely payment processing.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Monitor project budgets and track actual expenditures against forecasts.
  • Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements (GST, TDS, etc.).
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making by management.
  • Manage and maintain property-related financial records, including maintenance, rental income, and deposits.
  • Work closely with the sales, legal, and operations teams to ensure accurate financial reporting of real estate deals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter or MBA Finance is a plus).
  • 2-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) and MS Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and reporting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with RERA compliance and reporting.
  • Familiarity with real estate accounting best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
