Financial Accounting & ReportingPrepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. General Ledger ManagementPost journal entries and maintain the general ledger. Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities. Review and correct discrepancies in financial records. Accounts Payable & ReceivableProcess vendor invoices, payments, and employee reimbursements. Track customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables. Maintain accurate aging reports. Tax & CompliancePrepare and file GST/VAT, TDS, income tax, and other statutory returns. Support internal and external audits. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Budgeting & AnalysisAssist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Analyze financial performance and provide variance reports. Suggest cost-saving initiatives and improvements. Qualifications & SkillsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred). Professional certifications like CPA/CA/CMA (optional but a plus). Experience1–5+ years of accounting experience (depending on level). Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, etc.). Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of accounting principles. Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas). Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations. Soft SkillsAttention to detail and high accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
