Jr. Accountant

Job Summary:The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and coordination with other departments for smooth financial functioning. Key Responsibilities:Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain day-to-day financial transactions in Tally/ERP software. Prepare journal entries, ledgers, and reconcile bank statements. Manage accounts payable and receivable with timely follow-ups. Billing & Invoicing: Prepare and verify vendor and client bills. Track and record payments and receipts. Ensure accuracy in bill submissions and supporting documentation. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports. Support audit requirements and provide necessary data. Taxation & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and government regulations. Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory audits. Budgeting & Cost Control: Support management in preparing budgets and cost analysis. Monitor project expenses and identify variances from budgeted amounts. Coordination & Communication: Liaise with project teams, vendors, and clients for financial clarifications. Maintain organized records and assist with documentation during audits. Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting. Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software. Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
