Role Description Key Responsibilities: Interpersonal & Communication Skills Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with different teams and customers. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, including email etiquette. Analytical mindset to understand and address customer issues, with a focus on the bigger picture. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure timely escalation of s within the defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Networking Utilize basic network commands to troubleshoot desktop and laptop connectivity issues. Server Management Proficient in operating system commands and utilities, with a basic understanding of virtualization and server/client OS installations. Provide support for tasks such as OS installation, user-level commands, and local user/group management. Assist with software installations and basic patch management tasks. Storage & Backup Management Monitor enterprise storage and backup solutions to ensure optimal performance. Proficient in storage and backup monitoring and resolution. Utilize ticketing tools for issue tracking and resolution. Database Management Modify or create queries to meet business requirements. Possess data modeling skills and understand the differences between OLTP and Data Warehouse applications. Knowledge of storage hardware and management techniques used in managing storage. Optimize tables to minimize space usage and improve efficiency. End-User Computing Support Handle end-user calls and manage ticketing tools to resolve issues promptly. Manage Active Directory (AD) and Antivirus software to ensure security and compliance. Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently.
