Working with Suppliers to develop systems and processes to ensure clean launch of products at PPAP stages. Tracking of APQP with all suppliers in India. What You Will Do Point of contact for day-to-day Supplier quality issues. Lead supplier quality activities with the India supply base. Review internal non-conformances and customer complaints and close in a timely manner. Investigate problems to identify root causes and implement permanent corrective actions. Prepare customer certification dossiers and document packs prior to release of product. Maintain KPI data/charts and monitor trends to identify improvement activities and reduce Cost of Poor Quality. Responsible for incoming, in process and final quality of parts / products manufactured in Enerpac India Provide support in external audits (Certification body/Customer/Supplier). Create rejection documents/notifications and assist with concessions applications. Work closely with other global Quality Engineers and Operational Departments in resolution of quality issues. Work on Continuous Improvement initiatives/projects as identified by the Supplier Quality Leader &/or BCC Procurement Leader. Provide other QA support as relevant for the role. What Makes You An Ideal Candidate Education and Experience Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS standard; Strong problem solving skills and hands on experience of Root Cause Analysis preferably gained in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of various quality tools 8D, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, Lean methodologies etc. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Degree/HND qualified in Science/Engineering/QA or equivalent. Fluent in written/spoken English Professional Experience 10-12 years-experience in a quality engineer role or equivalent which included problem solving techniques. Background in quality aspects of various types of manufacturing / or final assembly processes Experience in Continuous Improvement activities (LEAN tools) desirable Experience of dealing with supplier resolution and communications. Management & Technical Capabilities Emphasis on preventive actions Team player actively involved in multi-functional business investigations / decisions Hands on approach User of major ERP systems (Oracle preferred) also proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to travel across India sites to support issue resolution.
