IT Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading IT project teams to success. With your 8-12 years of project management experience in the IT industry, you will be tasked with delivering complex projects efficiently and effectively. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage IT projects, guiding them from initiation to closure with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within set timelines and budgets. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. - Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to keep projects on track. - Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting. - Identify and address project risks and issues proactively, implementing effective mitigation measures. - Provide leadership to project teams, offering guidance, coaching, and mentorship for team effectiveness and development. - Align project objectives with client expectations and business goals by coordinating with account management teams. - Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for seamless communication and collaboration. - Keep stakeholders informed of project progress through regular status updates and milestone reports. - Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle. - Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement within project teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in the IT industry, with a solid grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. - PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. - Strong leadership and team management skills to inspire and motivate teams towards project success. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to make informed decisions under pressure and manage calculated risks effectively. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels. - Experience in managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. - Experience in account management or client relationship management is advantageous. - Proficiency in understanding and managing project dependencies within a complex organizational structure. - Prior experience working on large-scale enterprise projects. - Product Management skills are desirable, particularly if you have worked with Product teams or enterprise clients in the past.
