IT Applications Delivery Lead

In this role, as the leader of the Non-ERP Applications team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to the team. Your key responsibilities will include: - Recruit, develop, and mentor team members in collaboration with your matrix manager. - Enhance the functional and personal competencies of the team, covering areas such as solution design, change management, bug fixing, and daily support. - Act as the voice of the team in various forums including the GSC, Global Architecture, Business Process Ecosystem, and User community. - Cultivate strong relationships with key business stakeholders and gain insights into segment business models. - Implement industry best practices in demand management, change management, and agile operations to enhance operational efficiency. - Monitor the team's performance and provide constructive feedback to team members for their career development. - Identify training needs and growth opportunities for the team to ensure continuous improvement. - Motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential. - Ensure seamless integration of new hires into the company culture. - Manage time and leave effectively to maintain team productivity. As the Functional Inhouse Consultant, the majority of your role will involve: - Defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining functional applications. - Monitoring upcoming changes and ensuring application availability. - Gathering business requirements and creating implementation concepts. - Supporting testing with business users and providing user training. - Documenting technical customizations and developments. - Optimizing applications for performance and usability. - Supporting cloud adoption to Azure roadmap and defining non-functional requirements for digital solutions. - Providing governance of business solutions based on Burckhardt's architecture principles. - Collaborating with solution architects to connect applications to the Technology stack. - Engaging in 2nd level support and solution delivery for cross-functional projects. The qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years" experience in application management; 10 years" experience is preferred. - Proficiency in understanding business processes and providing support. - Strong project management skills. - Experience working with EU or US customers.
