IT Applications Delivery Lead

Your contributions to the organization's growth include: People Management Responsibilities: - Providing leadership and strategy to the Non-ERP Applications team. - Recruiting and developing people in close collaboration with the matrix manager. - Developing and maintaining functional and personal competencies of the team, such as solution design, change management, bug fixing, and daily support. - Representing the team perspective within various key areas of the organization, such as the GSC, Global Architecture, Business Process Ecosystem, User community, relevant Boards, and Projects. - Establishing strong working relationships with key business stakeholders and understanding segment business models. - Applying industry best practices around demand management, change management, and agile operations to contribute to an efficient operating model. - Setting up and monitoring the operating rhythm and collaboration within the team. - Overseeing and monitoring team delivery. - Reviewing, securing, and monitoring operational performance in collaboration with functional managers. - Providing constructive feedback to team members and creating career development plans. - Identifying training needs and growth opportunities for the team. - Motivating and inspiring team members. - Ensuring effective integration of new hires into the company culture. - Managing time and leave management effectively. Functional Inhouse Consultant Responsibilities: - Defining, designing, implementing, and maintaining the functional application assigned to you. - Tracking upcoming changes and ensuring application availability. - Gathering business requirements and providing an implementation concept. - Understanding and promoting the Technology Roadmap, translating it into an implementation roadmap of new features into the Burckhardt environment. - Autonomously executing Change Requests and small change projects. - Supporting testing with business users. - Providing user training and creating IT training documents. - Documenting customizations and developments technically. - Optimizing applications for optimal performance and usability. - Supporting the cloud adoption to Azure roadmap and defining non-functional requirements for the digital solutions portfolio. - Providing governance of business solutions according to Burckhardt's architecture principles. - Supporting solution architects in connecting other applications to the Technology stack. - Providing 2nd level support and participating in cross-functional project coordination. Expertise Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Minimum of 5 years" experience in application management; 10 years" experience preferred. - Ability to understand business processes and provide support. - Proficiency in project management. - Experience working with EU or US customers.
