Objective:

To augment the market capitalization of the company by fostering cordial and mutually beneficial relationships with existing and prospective investors/shareholders. The executive will ensure a positive image of the company in the investor community through consistent and accurate communication, timely disclosures, data validation, and media engagement.


Key Roles and Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor news and updates about the company across investor-focused platforms (e.g., MoneyControl, Screener, Mint, 5paisa, ET Markets).
  2. Identify and correct erroneous or misleading financial data or news in public domains.
  3. Maintain daily investor inquiry tracker and respond in coordination with internal departments.
  4. Coordinate with finance and legal teams for timely investor disclosures and reports.
  5. Monitor shareholding patterns, trading activity, and analyze market trends.


Weekly/Monthly Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, review, and coordinate the release of press releases, financial announcements, and regulatory filings (e.g., SEBI, NSE, BSE).
  2. Update and manage the Investor Relations section of the company website and presentation decks.
  3. Track and report competitor performance and peer comparison to management.
  4. Plan and coordinate investor meetings, earnings calls, and roadshows with potential investors and analysts.
  5. Prepare MIS reports and investor FAQs based on management input.


Relationship & Communication Management:

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for institutional and retail investors, analysts, and rating agencies.
  2. Build and maintain a strong investor database, keeping track of all interactions.
  3. Liaise with editors and financial journalists to publish accurate and strategic coverage.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with brokerage houses, financial institutions, and investor forums.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in

    Finance / Business / Economics / Communication / CA / CFA

    .
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Equity Research, or related fields.
  • Excellent command of

    financial reporting, balance sheets, and investor metrics

    .
  • Exceptional

    verbal and written communication

    skills.
  • Familiar with

    SEBI LODR Regulations

    , corporate governance norms, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Screener, MoneyControl, and CRM tools

    .
