Investment & Finance Intern

Role Overview:

As an Investment & Finance Intern, you will work closely with the founders and leadership team to support fundraising, financial modeling, and investor relations. Support the finance team in reporting and expense tracking while learning the essentials of startup finance. This role offers first-hand exposure to startup finance, capital raising, and strategic decision-making, making it ideal for students and graduates interested in investment banking, venture capital, or corporate finance.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Assist in creating and refining financial models, projections, and valuation analyses.

▪ Support the preparation of investor pitch decks, business plans, and reports.

▪ Prepare financial reports and expense trackers.

▪ Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and financial analysis.

▪ Help track KPIs, unit economics, and revenue models to support decision-making.

▪ Assist in fundraising outreach, due diligence, and investor communication.

▪ Maintain investment records and MIS reports.

▪ Contribute to drafting grant applications, fundraising documents, and compliance reports.

▪ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate finance into strategy and operations.

Preferred Background:

▪ Students/recent graduates in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Management.

▪ Strong interest in startup finance and investments, venture capital, or financial consulting.

▪ Prior internship/project experience in finance, fundraising, or financial analysis is a plus.

Skills & Experience:

▪ Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

▪ Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial modeling.

▪ Familiarity with valuation methods, investment terms, and fundraising processes.

▪ Excellent presentation and communication skills.

▪ Detail-oriented with analytical mindset.

▪ Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle data and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
