Internship (Founder’s Office / Business / Research Analyst Intern)


About the Role


This internship at Axience offers a unique opportunity for highly motivated students to work directly with the Founder and senior leadership team. This role is designed to give interns a holistic exposure to global business operations, research, strategy, and execution across multiple domains.


The candidate will act as a research analyst, executive business assistant, business development support analyst, and organizational support coordinator, often on the same day. Candidates may get the opportunity to work partner with globally located teams and help support various growth and operational initiatives into well-researched and executed actions.


This is a hybrid / remote internship for candidates primarily based out of Amsterdam, but with potential travel opportunities across Europe as well as to India and the UAE. The duration of the internship can be 6 or 12 months, depending on the candidate’s academic performance, schedule and availability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Founder on various initiatives ranging from strategy and business development, key stakeholder meeting preparation, client and industry-focused research and overall knowledge and analysis support
  • Specific tasks and categories may include but not limited to:

o  Research and Analysis

  • Conduct market, sector and company research aimed at identifying key trends / developments to zero in on potential partners or clients
  • Prepare detailed briefing notes, presentations, and research summaries for internal and external discussions
  • Assist in data analysis, competitive benchmarking, and strategic insights generation

o  Sales and Business Development

  • Build and maintain lead lists, map accounts, and research decision-makers
  • Draft concise outreach messages, proposals, and capability decks; track pipeline progress and next actions
  • Support partner and client calls: take structured notes, capture decisions, and ensure follow-through

o  Executive Business Support

  • Participate in meetings with internal teams or external stakeholders and take structured notes, ensuring effective communication and task delegation
  • Manage project follow-ups, tracking progress, and maintaining clear documentation of activities
  • Manage calendar, priorities, and day-to-day Founder workflow as well as keep other stakeholders aligned in overall agenda, actions, reminders, and status updates


  • On an overall basis, the candidate will collaborate closely with the Founder and cross-functional teams to support business development, partnerships, and strategic planning initiatives and get hands-on exposure to the Founder’s decision-making, priorities, and global operating rhythm

o  The ideal candidate will have the required maturity and integrity to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

o  Be comfortable working across time zones and with a globally mobile founder


Academic and Professional Background

  • Students currently pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Marketing, Administration, or Languages from the University of Amsterdam or other reputed European universities
  • Strong academic record with demonstrated analytical and communication skills
  • Prior experience or internships in business research, strategy, or consulting (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and capability to work across key databases / platforms such as Bloomberg, Pitch Book, etc and tools / platforms such as SharePoint / OneDrive, LinkedIn / Sales Navigator, among others


Required Skills

  • Strong communication skills in English (proficiency in any  European language is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and research skills; crisp writing and slide-making
  • Strong analytical mindset and the ability to think critically and independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively across time zones and teams
  • High attention to detail and with strong organizational / structuring abilities to cope with evolving business requirements
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and ownership
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully in a fast-paced, globally oriented environment


Additional Requirements

  • The Founder travels globally and is not based in Amsterdam and hence the candidate would be expected to maintain reliable overlap with European business hours and be comfortable with occasional early / late calls as required
