Job Summary: Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. The role ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws while safeguarding company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments as per the approved audit plan.
• Review and assess internal controls, processes, and procedures across departments.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and areas for operational improvement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Follow up on audit observations and monitor implementation of agreed actions.
• Conduct process audits, financial audits, and operational audits.
• Assist in fraud risk assessment and investigations, if required.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support statutory and management audits.
• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in internal audit or accounting (can be adjusted).
• Good understanding of internal controls, audit techniques, and risk management.
• Knowledge of IFRS and relevant regulatory standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/audit software.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
