Job Description

What we’re looking for: βœ… Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design tools βœ… Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and pricing βœ… Experience with costing, budgeting, and BOQs βœ… Excellent communication and project coordination skills Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: πŸ“Œ Prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and quotations based on approved designs πŸ“Œ Understand and interpret client requirements and preferences πŸ“Œ Develop design concepts, space plans, and presentations aligned with client expectations πŸ“Œ Revise designs and budgets based on feedback or site conditions πŸ“Œ Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and pricing πŸ“Œ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards πŸ“Œ Provide pre & post-installation support and adjustments as needed Estimation & Costing: πŸ”Έ Prepare estimates for furniture manufacturing projects including material, labour, and overhead costs πŸ”Έ Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and rate analysis πŸ”Έ Manage quantity and quality of materials required for each project Project Budgeting: πŸ”Έ Develop and manage project budgets in line with financial goals and client expectations πŸ”Έ Deliver accurate, timely budgetary data for informed decision-making Collaboration with Design & Production Teams: 🀝 Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure precise cost assessment πŸ’‘ Offer cost-related insights that support smarter design and value-driven decisions Value Engineering: πŸ” Propose solutions that optimise costs without compromising on quality πŸ’‘ Drive innovation to improve cost-efficiency in manufacturing and design processes Show more Show less
