Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation test frameworks using Cypress and Selenium.
• Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts in JavaScript.
• Develop and maintain automated test cases for both frontend and backend applications.
• Review and analyze system specifications to identify test requirements.
• Collaborate with developers in the sprint planning process to ensure automation coverage.
• Conduct API testing to validate data flow and integration points.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues in the test environment.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of tests through continuous analysis and optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improvement of automation scripts.
• Set up and maintain test environments for various projects.
• Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices related to testing.
• Monitor and report on test results and metrics effectively to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Proficient in JavaScript and familiar with web technologies.
• Extensive experience using Cypress for UI testing.
• Proficient with Selenium for browser automation.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or CircleCI.
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in writing clear and concise test documentation.
