A Relationship Manager in the insurance agency channel is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance agents, driving sales growth, and ensuring the agency's success. Key responsibilities include recruiting and developing agents, providing training and support, monitoring performance, and achieving business targets. They also act as a point of contact for agents, addressing their needs and concerns, and helping them to build their own businesses. Key Responsibilities: Recruiting and Developing Agents: Identifying and recruiting qualified insurance agents, often focusing on building a team to achieve specific sales goals. Training and Support: Providing ongoing training and support to agents, ensuring they have the knowledge and resources to succeed. Performance Management: Monitoring agent performance, providing feedback, and coaching to improve productivity and sales. Sales Growth: Driving sales through the agency channel, setting and achieving business targets. Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with agents, acting as a point of contact and support. Customer Relationship Management: Ensuring agents provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients. Compliance and Operations: Ensuring agents adhere to company policies and regulations, and managing operational aspects of the agency channel. Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through the agency channel. Reporting and Analysis: Maintaining accurate records of agent performance and business activities, and generating reports for analysis. Skills and Qualifications: Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of agents. Sales and Negotiation: Experience in sales and negotiation to drive business growth. Interpersonal and Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to connect with agents and clients. Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of insurance products and the insurance industry. Training and Mentoring: Ability to train, mentor, and coach agents to improve their skills. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Ability to identify and resolve issues and make informed decisions. Computer Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Motivation and Drive: Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to achieve targets.
